Obituary of Esther K. Babcock

Esther K. Babcock, 96, of Owego passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015. Esther was predeceased by her husband, John Babcock, Jr.; two sons, Stephen Klenotiz, Gerald Tuttle; sister, Emily Jane Seger; brother, Owen Thomas. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Don Watkins; son and two daughters-in-law, Edward and Elaine Klenotiz; Ann Tuttle; sister, Gloria Jakat; special grandchild, Sherri Ann Hart; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Esther was a member of the Gospel Chapel, Owego Senior Citizens and the Keen Agers Band. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with her Pastor Loretta Perry, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
