Rachel Ann Gunn-Tucker, 72, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Rachel was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Nora Gunn; husband, Arthur Twarz; son, Timmy VanDerpoel; sister, Ruth Ferger. Rach is survived by her husband, Victor Tucker, Brooktondale; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Teresa Twarz, Candor; grandson, Gregory Twarz; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Tom Dewey, Candor, Cheryl and Dean L’Amoreaux, Groton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur and Shirley Gunn, TX, Louis and Norma Gunn, Candor; many nieces and nephew (To whom she was fondly called “Aunt Ricky”.) and many dear friends. Rachel was taken from us far too soon. She had found so much love, happiness and peace with her new husband, Vic. Rach was a beautiful ray of light, she spread love wherever she was! Rachel’s life was a true example of Corinthians: 13 “And none these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Caroline Center Church, 760 Buffalo Road, Caroline Center, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rachel A. Tucker’s memory to Bread of Life Food Pantry, P.O. Box 94, Candor, NY 13743. Condolences may be made to Rachel’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
