Betty Jane Cordi, 89, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Louis Cordi, six siblings, grandson, Michael Cordi. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Dennis and Carol Cordi, special caretakers, Gerri and Frank Nolan, Anthony and Betty Lou Cordi, Kathy and Stephen Eschler; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren;sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Edward Fendick; several nieces and nephews. Betty spent most of her life caring for other people. She was a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Church and loved living in Owego. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Riverview Manor Nursing Facility and Yesteryears Day Program. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St. Owego.
