Edna Babcock, 70, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Predeceased by her beloved dog, Lacey. Edna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Babcock; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Teresa Babcock, Mark and Jennifer Babcock, Tracy and Tammy Babcock; seven grandchildren, Jocelyn, Aaron, Ethan, Hunter, Jordyn, Eden, Ryan; brother, Gene Granger and Shirley Allen; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Merlin Hoke; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Edna was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and took great joy in baking for all funeral gatherings. She enjoyed country music, arts and crafts, painting, ceramics at the Community Center and gardening in her flower beds at home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna’s memory to St. Patrick’s School, 209 Front St., Owego, NY 13827 or Owego Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 22, Owego, NY 13827.
