Joel “Rick” Richardson, 66, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at home. Joel was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Richardson; his parents, Mary Richardson and Gleyn Holmes; sister, Becky Taylor. He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda (Fred) Godfrey, Chris Richardson, Joy (David) Pragacz; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; brother, Harry Richardson; sisters, Jennie (Fenton) Marshall, Carole (Philip) Trumbull; stepmother, Lois Holmes; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joel was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from IBM, Owego. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. David C. Seaver, Chaplain of Spiritual Care at Lourdes Hospital, officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 to 4:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
