Lillian M. Ford

Lillian M. Ford, 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.  Lillian was predeceased by her husbands, Donald “Pete” Ford, Joseph Eastwood; son, Donald “Buzz” Ford, II; brothers, LeRoy, Frank and Harold Nichols.  She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Peg and Michael Santore, Chris Ford; grandchildren, Michael Santore, Tammy and Bill Elsner, Matt and Sarah Santore, Joey and Sarah Ford; great grandchildren, Autumn, Kimber, Quinton, Joey, Emily; sisters, Louise Barto Carter, Florence Eastman, Linda Hepp; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Ester Mathewson.   Lillian was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Owego, Talcott Street School PTA, former Girl Scout Leader, Tiahwaga Community Players and was a noted seamstress in Owego. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. G. Terry Steenburg, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
