Jane Marie Sheeley, 85, currently residing at Riverview Manor in Owego, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Jane was a sweet, kind lady who kept her good nature and sense of humor throughout many difficulties in her life. She appreciated her many care-givers. Jane is survived by her brother, William John Sheeley and sister-in-law, Ethel Sheeley from Canisteo, NY; three nieces and their spouses, Janet and Earl Lind from Little Egg Harbor, NJ; Alice and David Gardiner from Canisteo, NY; Susan and Christopher Lind from Flanders, NJ; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego,NY with the Rev. Donald Maynard from Canisteo Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
