Betty J. Morgan

Betty J. Morgan, 87, of Owego, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.  Betty was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ruth Shipton Clark; brothers, Eston and Gerald Clark.  Betty is survived by her loving and caring husband of 60 years, Edger; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan & Fred Bogart of Owego, and Lisa and Michael Gaieski of Rome, PA; grandchildren, Heather & Jason Horton, Justin Bogart and his girlfriend Amanda Barillaro, Matthew and Natalie Gaieski and Jason Gaieski; and great grandchildren, Cassidy and Devon Horton, and Abigale Gaieski. Betty was an avid reader, loved to square dance, enjoyed family gatherings and traveling with Edgar.  The family will hold a private celebration of Betty’s life when she is laid to rest at Tioga Cemetery.  The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the Lourdes Hospice for their wonderful, compassionate care they gave Betty.  Memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to the United Methodist Church, 261 Main Street, Owego, NY  13827.
