Agnes Gleeson Schlee

Agnes Gleeson Schlee passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Agnes was born in Jackson Heights, NYC to the late John and Johanna Gleeson, Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Bodie and Mary Collins; brother, Michael Gleeson. Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Frank Schlee; daughter, Joanna Schlee and her fiancé, Michael Gage; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lisa Schlee, Thomas and Kelly Schlee, Shawn and Katie Schlee; six grandchildren, David, Jenny, Marissa and Dylan Schlee, Jason and Samantha Gage; sister, Peggy Becker, two brothers, John and Joseph Gleeson; several nieces and nephews. Agnes was an active member of St. Patrick’s Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego with the Rev. William Moorby, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Memorial contributions may be made in Agnes G. Schlee’s memory to Hospice at Lourdes, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
